Proverbs by Son

The last day of kindergarten is upon us and we received a large bag full of artwork and notebooks from my son's year in school. Contained in the book All About Me is a fill in the blank worksheet of commonly quoted proverbs. Here are his answers....

A stitch in time saves dinosaurs.
A bird in the hand is better than a butterfly in a hand.
Better safe than with a monster.
Don't count your chickens before they just go "bok".
Time flies when you throw a clock out the window.
The pen is mightier than egg.
You can lead a horse to water but if it's a chicken.
A penny saved is a dollar.
Two wrongs don't make a yes.
Kill two birds with bb guns.
Don't look a gift horse in a bear's mouth.
Don't bite the hand that will bleed.
Two heads are better than one.
You can't teach an old dog new tricks.
Two is company, three is reckless.
Laugh and the whole world laughs with you, cry and mad.
Better late than early.

At the zoo;  Daughter took the picture.
